In this post we will discuss our favorite eBay tool to Manage our Listings. As you start to grow your eBay business you may run into a common issue most sellers encounter, the listing process. Most of us sellers love the sourcing process. It is fun to go out to stores or yard sales to find good deals that we know we can make money on. The part that can be a drag is the listing. Having to go through each item and take pictures and then log on to eBay and write up a title, description of the item and shipping can feel like homework. We know it needs to get done but it is something that can easily be put off until tomorrow.
I like most hit this wall as well. As my inventory grew, I found myself adding more products to my “Need to List” bins. Knowing I needed to improve my listing rate to increase my sales and move inventory I searched for an eBay lister. I had used Turbo Lister in the past and found it work just ok. Listening to a podcast of a show their guest mentioned using inkFrog. I went to their website to learn more and have been using them ever since. It is a great tool to that allows you to quickly list in eBay and connect to other platforms making it a one stop listing spot. Now, full transparency I am not an affiliate or partnered with inkFrog. I like the product a lot and wish I would have known about it early on once I started growing and using Amazon FBA. Let us go through how it works.
So, what is inkFrog? inkFrog is a powerful eBay listing tool that can also sync your listing to other platforms like Amazon, Sopify and BigCommerce. The listing tool allows you to utilize templates that you can customize with eBay category, shipping profiles, pricing & payment profiles. When creating a listing you can quickly link which ever profile you need to that listing. Ever wonder how some eBay sellers create colorful description pages? Well inkFrog also lets you create nice clean templates to allow your listing to have a branded type of look.
Another nice feature with inkFrog is how it handles your listings. All the listings you create that are either live or have sold will be saved in the library section. This comes in handy when you need to list a similar item that you listed before. If you sold an iPhone 7 in the past and have another to sell you can pull up that old listing and make your adjustments and add new photos and just like that you are done. This cuts down so much of the time needed to re-list items you might get a lot of to sell. Add to that inkFrog also allows you to schedule when to go live with your listings. Many eBay sellers prefer to list items between certain time periods. You can create the listing and schedule it to go live in eBay at any time.
Finally, as your reselling business grows you may look to use other platforms. If Amazon FBA or Merchant fulfilled is part of your business inkFrog offers connectors to link inventory and listing of both sites. As an example, I had a pallet of brand-new boxes of baseballs. I had 50 cases and created listings on both Amazon and eBay. If one sold on Amazon, my quantity would get updated on Amazon and then sync to inkFrog. From there my eBay listing would now decrease the quantity available. This is a great feature to make sure overselling a product does not become an issue and you can take advantage of multiple platforms.
So now the important question right. How much? Plans start at $11 per month all the way up to $79 per month. The more listings and platform connections you need the more you will pay for that. We have pretty much been at the $11 plan which allows us to connect to one other platform like Amazon while having up to 300 listings. For most new sellers this will be more than enough. If you start to expand your inventory the next price up is $19 for 1,500 listings. For $11 I have saved so much time on the listing part of the business and really love having the option to list items on Amazon at the same time. Give them a look at www.inkfrog.com and give their 14-Day Free Trial a spin.
